Enemies have increased resistance and they are definitely harder to deal with. In Classic, Tactician and Honour modes, you get experience only by killing enemies or completing main and side quests.All you have to do is to discover an atypical passage, teleport to a location that is hard to reach, or just reveal the whole area map, and an additional reward will be added to your account. Explorer is definitely easier, as the enemies are weaker, the experience points rewarded for quests are the same as in Classic mode, but the extra experience is acquired by visiting certain locations.
